Therapy can support you through anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship and dating concerns, life transitions, career stress, and more. We take a whole-person approach, recognizing that many of these experiences are interconnected.

Q: Do I need to have a specific problem to start therapy?

Not at all. You don’t need a clear diagnosis or crisis to begin therapy. Many people come in simply wanting more clarity, balance, or support during a transition.

Q: Is therapy focused on the past or the present?

It can be both. Some approaches, like psychodynamic therapy, explore past experiences to understand current patterns, while others, like CBT, focus more on present challenges and practical strategies. We integrate both depending on what’s most helpful for you.

What to expect:

Q: How often do we meet?

Consistency plays a vital role in creating lasting, genuine change. For this reason, I recommend weekly sessions. As we build rapport and make progress towards goals, the frequency of sessions may be adjusted to align with your evolving needs.

Q: How long are sessions?

Individual sessions are 45 minutes and couples sessions are 60 minutes.

Q: What happens in a typical therapy session?

Sessions are a space for open, honest conversation where you can explore what’s on your mind. Depending on your needs, sessions may include reflection, skill-building, identifying patterns, or working through specific challenges in real time.

Q: How long does therapy take?

Therapy looks different for everyone. Some clients benefit from shorter-term, goal-oriented work, while others engage in longer-term therapy for deeper exploration and growth.

Q: What if I feel stuck or unsure about making changes?

That’s completely normal. Approaches like Motivational Interviewing are specifically designed to help you explore ambivalence, clarify your values, and move forward at your own pace.

Q: Will I learn practical tools in therapy?

Absolutely. Many of our approaches, especially CBT and ACT, focus on building actionable skills you can use in your daily life to manage stress, improve relationships, and feel more in control.

Q: What results can I expect from therapy?

Clients often experience improved self-awareness, better emotional regulation, stronger relationships, increased confidence, and a clearer sense of direction. Progress is gradual, but meaningful and lasting.

Q: Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Therapy is a confidential space where you can speak openly and honestly. We’ll review confidentiality and any limits during your first session so you feel fully informed and comfortable.
